Back-to-school prep is officially underway! 🧁🎒

And around here, that means MUFFINS. Lots and lots of muffins. 😂

My kids love taking muffins in their school lunches, and they’re one of my favourite things to prep ahead because they’re SO easy to whip up, freeze, and toss into lunch boxes as we need them.

A little work now = one less thing to think about on busy school mornings. 🙌🏻

21 years ago, I said YES. ❤️

Yes to Micah.
Yes to marriage.
Yes to a life together.

And 21 years later, I can say without a doubt that YES was one of the best decisions of my life.

Because that one yes became a marriage, a home, seven incredible kids, a whole lot of memories, adventures, laughter, hard seasons, growing seasons and a life I’m so incredibly thankful for.

We’ve grown up together in so many ways. We’ve changed. We’ve learned. We’ve walked through really beautiful seasons and really hard ones. And through all of it, we’ve kept choosing each other.

I’m so thankful for the life we’ve built together and even more thankful that I get to keep building it with you.

21 years down, and I’d still choose you. ❤️

A trip to Mackay’s Blueberry Stand is always a good idea in the summer. 🫐💙

And if the fresh-baked blueberry muffins are still warm when you get there… you’re obviously getting those too. 😂 There is NO resisting them straight out of the oven.

We stocked up on wild blueberries to tuck away in the freezer so we can pull them out all winter long for Saturday morning pancakes, waffles and a little taste of summer when everything outside is covered in snow. 🥞❄️

And the homemade blueberry pie? That one definitely isn’t making it to the freezer. 😂 I already cannot wait to dig into it after supper tonight.

Fresh wild blueberries, warm muffins and homemade pie… this is one of those summer traditions I never want to skip. 🫐
