As we count down the days to the opening of our 2nd location in Cadboro Bay Village, the cheese marathon began in earnest late this afternoon with a rare artisanal beauty from the master that is Beppino Occelli ~ this is Occelli in Foglie di Castagno… a prized cow and sheep’s milk cheese from Piemonte in the northwest of Italy, wrapped in fresh chestnut leaves and aged for over 18 months. Incredibly rich, very complex, nutty and buttery, layers that melt in the mouth, an exquisite palate experience. Simply extraordinary.
