Those empty shelves have us feeling pretty thankful tonight!

To everyone who stopped by the SCARS market, tried a sample, bought cookies or took a moment to chat, thank you. Every bit of support means so much to our little bakehouse.

We loved meeting new faces and seeing familiar ones come back for their favourites. Thank you for choosing our cookies and being part of this little business we’re working so hard to grow.

Spring might still be five months away, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have something sweet to look forward to!

Things are already happening in the Black Apron Bakehouse test kitchen as I work on next spring’s cookie lineup.

Meet Strawberry Golden Crunch! 🍓

A thick strawberry cookie with a Golden Oreo baked right into the centre, white chocolate, and a generous topping of strawberry and Golden Oreo crunch.

After a few rounds of testing, adjusting and tasting, I’ve finally got the flavour, texture and size exactly where I wanted them.

This one’s not on the menu just yet. Consider it a little sneak peek at what’s coming out of the Bakehouse next spring!
