Celebrate the start of summer with us!

Join our Social Enterprise Team and the Saint John Horticultural Association on June 30 from 12–1 PM for a Seed Starter Workshop. Learn how to plant and grow a variety of seeds while enjoying coffee, tea, and baked goods from Stone Soup Cafe & Catering

Your $23 ticket (tax included) includes all supplies, refreshments, and a 48-cell starter tray to take home and grow. Proceeds from ticket sales will support the Saint John Horticultural Association and help fund SJLE's social enterprise programming, creating training and employment opportunities in our community.

We want this workshop to be accessible to everyone. If you'd like to attend but the cost is a barrier, complimentary tickets are available.

Today we want to thank HAL Delivery for making it happen for us for the past five years. Without their team, we wouldn’t have been able to provide deliveries with such ease. Although they are no longer able to do deliveries for us and we are getting help from other wonderful individuals at the moment, we could not recommend them more highly. Thank you Zoe, Randy, Pascal, Ray, Trevor and everyone else who has helped us out over the years. We appreciate you so very much.

🥬 Have you seen a guy walking around town with a mini fridge strapped to his back? If you’ve wondered what that’s all about, this video is for you. I had the chance to talk with Jesse about himself, food and the Saint John community. He dedicates his efforts to raising awareness about food insecurity and raising funds for food security programs in the Saint John area. I hope you all find it inspiring. Thank you Jesse for your time and all that you do for our community!
