We started out as a foolish bunch of backyard brewers using propane burners and frozen hoses and now we’re a real life microbrewery.

We make small batch craft beer in Sarnia, Ontario. Refined Fool is a group of teachers, creatives, blue collars, entrepreneurs, musicians and pastors who care about beer, business, Sarnia and each other. We began by brewing out of our houses in midwinter with propane burners and frozen hoses and have since evolved into a downtown nano-brewery.

Also the Bluewater Bridges are now known as Newie and Oldie.

Our Fall Co****le and Darts leagues at are now open for sign ups! It's $50 per team of two, which gets you 10 weeks of league play.

Last year we had a record number of co****le teams (86!) across 5 league nights, and we're hoping to beat that again this year. It's a great way to get out on a weeknight and meet like-minded people who also like to throw things.

Megan Dropped Her Hat Behind The Radiator Again

Sometimes you come up with a name or design that you think is going to work, and then you realize its extremely dumb. Usually these don't see the light of day; they are swept under a rug in the basement never to be spoken of again. But this one felt like it need to be shared so you can suffer alongside us. Who is Megan? Why does it matter that her hat got dropped behind a radiator? Have you guys finally gone completely insane? There are no satisfying answers.

The good news is that the beer itself (a Tiny Batch brew) is really nice, a 6% Hazy IPA with lots of fruity aromas and notes of sweet candy, mango, pineapple, passion fruit and peach.

We are looking for someone to join our production team in the role of Production Assistant.

We are looking for someone who has full time availability, Mon to Fri from 8am to 4pm, and is open to learning a new skillset. The role is primarily assisting with packaging and warehousing to start, with an opportunity to get trained on other aspects of the beer making process. It pays $18 to $20 per hour depending on experience.

If you are interested please come to 1326 London Road at between noon and 1:00 on Thursday, August 6th with a resume and to answer a few questions.

Greg Only Eats At Airports

Our newest Tiny Batch Series release is a new world modern IPA; fruity, mild haze, and a balanced but noticeable bitterness. The aroma is loaded with fruit punch, tangerine, berries and mango.

It's a bit of a banger at 7%, so we suggest drinking this one at home. But if you're one of those people who only drinks at Post Offices, exercise caution.
