The moment that bar hits the cutter… and suddenly you’re looking at a sunset sky floating over clouds.
Soft pastels, glowing horizons, and that dreamy swirl that only shows itself once the blade comes down.

So happy with how this batch turned out! What do you think? Were you close in your guess? We didn’t get any sunset guesses so I think the person who guessed galaxy was closest! If that was you, PM me to set up picking up your free bar at our next Tantallon market day!

Slowing down a bit in summer means more time that I can spend on some of the hobbies I also teach! This morning I got to play around with some of the more difficult techniques used in cold process soap making. Scraping, imbeds, colour gradients and piping were all used to make this soap design. Can you guess the theme? Closest guess wins a bar! Pick up at our next Tuesday at the Tantallon Village Farmers Market

Surprise! When I’m not wrangling goats or teaching sourdough, I’m also a Registered Nurse — and I’m excited to be joining the Tantallon Advanced Foot Care Team at Head to Toe Healthcare, helping keep our community’s feet healthy and happy.
If you’re diabetic, have some unwanted foot issues, have a parent who needs a little lower‑limb TLC, or just want to stay ahead of your foot health, come see me on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Head to Toe Healthcare inside Docside Wellness Clinic.
