🍂 As we fall into fall… a little farmstand update.

As life gets busier, I’ve decided it’s time to step back from the farmstand a little.

Proof & Petal is truly a labour of love; it’s just me behind the scenes baking, prepping, cleaning and getting everything ready. Unfortunately, after experiencing some theft and dishonesty in recent weeks, it’s been hard to put so much energy into something that has always brought me so much joy.

For now, I’m choosing to focus that energy on my family, school, and the things that fill my cup. 🤎

This isn’t goodbye! I’ll still have spontaneous Proof & Petal pop-ups, likely announced just a day or a few days beforehand, so stay tuned.

And to everyone who continues to support this little stand with kindness and honesty, thank you. It means more than you know. 🍞🌻🍂

Thank you all so much for your patience while we took a little break! 🤍 We’re excited to have the stand stocked again tomorrow!

🌻 WE’RE BACK THIS SUNDAY! 🍞

Thank you all so much for your patience while we took a little extended break! We snuck away for an extended vacation with the kids, and it was honestly fantastic. ❤️ It was so nice to soak up that time together before getting back into the swing of fall.
As I return to regular life, the farm stand may be a little more sporadic through the fall, but I’m going to try my best to keep the bread coming for as long as I can!

✨ This Sunday, September 13th, the stand should be stocked with:

🤎 Sourdough Cinnamon Buns
🍞 A variety of fresh Sourdough Loaves

After battling with my starter all week, I think I’ve FINALLY figured it out. 😂 Apparently the weather changes affect her mood- who knew sourdough could be so dramatic?

Happy Sunday, everyone! ☀️

There will be fresh bread at the farm stand today, just a little later than usual. Family will always come first, and with a busy weekend, I’m expecting everything to be cooled, packed, and ready to go around 12-12:30.

Plot twist: I ran into a proofing issue so I’ve changed my mind and there will, in fact, be bread on Sunday not Saturday!

Tomorrow, we’ll just have cold drinks and snacks out for all of the MS riders passing by. See you Sunday for bread, assuming my starter cooperates 🫠🤣

Proof & Petal Farm Stand • Saturday 🌾🤍

We’ll have fresh goodies waiting for you at the stand this Saturday!

This weekend is also the MS Bike Ride, which holds a special place in our hearts. Multiple sclerosis has touched both sides of our family, so we’ll be putting out cold drinks and snacks for the riders as a small way to show our support and cheer them on.

To everyone riding, volunteering, and supporting this incredible cause - thank you for all that you do. We’re so grateful to be part of such a caring community.

Wishing all of the riders safe travels, strong legs, and plenty of sunshine. Stop by and say hello if you’re passing through!
