Mustard update

Checked the field this morning and the mustard is popping out of the ground already! The heat has been great for warming up our soil after the snow we got on May long.

The field is nice and clean of w**ds right now. We did a pass of herbicide right after the crop was seeded to kill the w**ds before the mustard started growing. Mustard is non-gmo so there is very little options for what you can spray in crop for w**d control.

If you have any questions about how or why we do anything on the farm, feel free to ask. The idea of this process is to be transparent about our food from field to fork.

Mustard is in the ground! We are just about half done seeding on our farm. Ready to move to canola. Should be done in under a week.
