We took two purebred bred heifers to the Manitoba Simmental Association Field Day. Duncan’s 4-H heifer, Sun Rise Emmy 5N, won Champion Bred Heifer and Reserve Champion Female.

Sun Rise Red 24K and her calf won Grand Champion Female. This female was purchased by Horner cattle company from us in the fall of 2022.

Thank you to Horner Cattle Company for hosting such a great event. Lots of work goes into a day like this. We appreciate it.

Duncan had an amazing weekend at the Flagstaff District 4-H Show and Sale!

His 2 year old, Sun Rise Tara 7L won Flagstaff District Champion Female. His steer, Uncle Buck won 5th Top District Steer. He also won Reserve Champion Intermediate Grooming.

He’s a pretty happy kid!
