Excited for Thanksgiving? Maybe you’re just happy for the long weekend because you’re exhausted? We definitely are!! 😂 Our Friendly Neighbourhood Vegan Chef, Douglas James Lamb, has been making preparations all week in the hopes of making your holiday meal extra special!

In case you missed the deadline or just completely forgot to place an order, we DO have some extra Stuffed Turkeys (even the GF ones!!) and they will be available for purchase at the St. John's Farmers' Market on Saturday, Oct. 10th!

As usual, we’ll be there from 9am - 4pm eagerly waiting to see all your lovely faces!

Who’s ready for another memorable Vegan Thanksgiving?

Indulge in our hearty plant-based “Turkey” roast, fragrant savoury stuffing, silky smooth gravy and zesty cranberry sauce. Each element shines individually, but together they weave a tapestry of rich, festive flavours that will leave you craving another bite!

This year we’re introducing a new and improved Gluten Friendly Vegan “Turkey” roast. If you thought last year’s was tasty, this new recipe will absolutely blow your mind!!

Pick Up and Delivery will be available on Saturday, October 10th from 9am-4pm. Make sure to get your orders in before Thursday, October 8th at 5pm.

Happy Fall to all!! 🍂

We’ve endured quite a chilly summer, but at last, the cozy warmth of delicious autumnal delights is officially upon us! With this season comes hearty, comforting meals and decadent, spice infused desserts. And of course, our Friendly Neighbourhood Vegan Chef, Douglas James Lamb has your tastebuds covered!!

Chef Doug has crafted another innovative dish for this week, the Cured Carrot “Eggs” Benedict! This new item is served on a toasted bagel, and layered with dill pickle hummus, arugula and marinated tofu. It’s then draped with a velvety smooth Hollandaise sauce and paired with impeccably seasoned roasted potatoes.

Make sure to add us to your St. John's Farmers' Market Bingo card this weekend!!! As always, we’ll be there from 9am to 4pm, eagerly awaiting your smiling faces!!! See you soon 💚

Welcome to Saturday everyone! Just like that another week has come and gone! This weekend is filled with markets all over town, so make sure to drop down to the St. John's Farmers' Market to grab yourself a nourishing and hearty VEGAN meal from your fave Chef Douglas James Lamb!!

This week, we have another new item on the menu inspired by my (Sonja A. Massey) late Mom’s Slovak cooking! Paprikáš is a soul warming and aromatic dish; perfect for a chilly day, which the forecast calls for! 😅

As always, we’re at 245 Freshwater Road from 9am to 4pm. Looking forward to seeing you all! 💚

Cheers to the Weekend!! If you’re anything like us, you’re thrilled it’s finally Saturday! Saturdays mean… eat alllll the vegan goodies from our Friendly Neighbourhood Vegan Chef, Douglas James Lamb, at the St. John's Farmers' Market.

And if you like eating on other days of the week, too, make sure to stop into Oliver's Restaurant at 160 Water Street in Downtown St. John’s. Their vegan menu is filled with originality and delicious items that will keep you coming back for more!!

Happy Labour Day weekend everyone! Start your long weekend off the right way by visiting us at the St. John's Farmers' Market on this Saturday. We’ll be there bright and early from 9am until the bell rings at 4pm.

Our friendly Neighbourhood Vegan Chef, Douglas James Lamb, has created another new “labour” of love for you all this week. From the Louisiana bayou, we present the Vegan Muffuletta Sandwich! If you appreciate the tastes of Italian cold cuts, creamy provolone cheese and briny olive/veggie salad between slices of crusty ciabatta bread, then this sandwich is the one for you!

Happy Saturday to all! What a beautiful day to come out to the St. John's Farmers' Market and pick up some of your favourite Friendly Neighbourhood Vegan Chef Douglas James Lamb’s delicious offerings?

While we’re bringing back some classics, we’re also introducing a new Indian inspired item… Keema Matar! Take a look at the stats on this baby… it’s a nutrient power house!! This dish is a huge favourite of ours and we hope it becomes one of yours, too!

And in case you missed it, we have the perfect way to end your meal … with a Bread Pudding filled with Wild Newfoundland berries!! 🫐
