My goal is just to make the birds I enjoy myself, set them up to be successful, and then share them with you 💗

Okay here’s the update. He’s getting around well, looks stable, crowing, eating, drinking, roosting.

Will take it day by day. Can take a video of me changing the splint in a few days if you guys want?

These are just a few of my pullets that are getting ready to lay! (and one roo because he’s pretty, just waiting to see if his chest fills in black. He’s going to be more for egg colour anyway, I won’t likely offer pure welsummers)

Some wheaten marans, a two splash marans, few olive eggers that should lay stunning speckled eggs! 🔥
