Orielle (Otamendi/Bon Balou). At just 2 yrs old, she is already 16.1. This filly has been super easy, handles new experiences well and has been handled daily. She is looking for her person. 🙂

Yes, she is good for the vet. He is a pretty likable fellow even if he sometimes pokes her.

Dr. Jason getting a warm welcome from one of his four-legged patients. 💕

A little trust goes a long way in building a great veterinary care experience. 🐴 🩺

Stella (Sir Wanabi/Bon Balou), just over 1 month under saddle, piloted by the skilled and patient Allie. She is slowly building up strength and fitness. From a dummy foal, to surviving colitis at 5 weeks, to a 4-year-old under saddle, plus many more bumps and vet visits in between. Owning and raising horses is a joy and privilege, but it is back-breaking, sometimes heartbreaking work. So, we celebrate the wins, sit as long as we can in the moments of joy, while trying not to brace for the next twist in the long road to becoming a middle-aged, amateur ladies' dressage mount. Go Stelly!!

Stellamaris (Sir Wanabi/Bon Balou) was a solid citizen for her light start this fall. Thank you to Sarah for giving her such a solid foundation. Stella is brave, curious and navigated walk, trot, canter and even hacked out by herself under Sarah's guidance. She is now home and will enjoy the winter off to allow her time to mature and grow into that hind end.

Lily coming along nicely under the patient guidance of Allie. I'm still a work in progress, but plan to be sitting that canter soon!

I'm overjoyed to have this mare back to work! The exceptional training provided by Allie Schmidt Dressage has transformed my jumper-bred mare into my personal dressage horse, exceeding my expectations. Stay tuned for more updates and accomplishments as both our training progresses. Allie Schmidt Dressage
