The Dunsmore Family farm is located in Saskatchewan's dark brown soil zones, approximately 12 kilometres Northwest of Asquith, Saskatchewan. The study field encompassed 65 acres of Full-Season Cover Crop.

If you have ever been to the farm you were probably greeted by a large seemingly angry white puffball we called Waggs.
Waggs was not only our farm security but also family. Once Waggs befriended you he never forgot you. You were part of his herd.

This morning at age 15, Waggs fell a sleep in his bed and did not wake up. We buried him under his favourite shady tree in the yard. It’s been a very hard day around the farm without our old dog.
We can rest easy knowing that our Waggs will still be doing his “morning rounds” checking on everything including us from up there.
See you again stinky farm dog.

This year the Royal Winter Fair looked a little different for us!

Sharon, Gwen and Andrew have already moved out west and are running the new farm. Unfortunately, this means they couldn’t attend.

Nick had his final 4-H show and we are more than proud of him and the work he has put into his heifer!
Nick through 4-H has had a special bond with every single animal he has worked with and it was an absolute pleasure for us to be able to see his first ever 4-H heifer (Norma Jean) and his last 4-H heifer (Stella) in the front pasture together.

As Nick Retires his 4-H showing he will continue to show for the family farm.
We are so incredibly proud of Nick and the passion and ambition he has put into his 4-H animals over the years.
