A little W**e Wednesday evening news for everyone joining us this Thanksgiving long weekend! 🍷🍁

If you’ve already booked your stay at Summerland Waterfront Resort, we have some lovely extras planned for you, including a complimentary w**e tasting with our friends at Haywire W**ery

Join us in the Ballroom on Saturday, October 10, from 4–6 pm to discover w**es from this celebrated Okanagan producer.

And the hospitality doesn't stop there! Throughout the weekend, we're treating guests to hot apple c***r in the lobby from 4–6 pm and poolside fire pits from 5–8:30 pm, Friday through Sunday.

On Saturday, Aaron Loewen Music will also be performing live in the lobby from 4:30–6:30 pm.

All of these activities are complimentary for our resort guests, our way of making your Thanksgiving getaway a little more memorable.

Christine Coletta, owner of **e and **ery, joins us this week following the wildfire in Summerland to share how her team, vineyards and the wider community are beginning to recover. Christine tells us about the immediate priority of getting people to safety, the impact at Garnett Valley Ranch, and the work now underway to restore power, irrigation and damaged areas. We talk about the resilience of an industry that has faced repeated challenges since 2020, and how neighbours and local businesses are once again coming together to help one another. Christine also shares why visiting the Okanagan and supporting local w**eries, hotels and other businesses can play an important role in the region’s recovery.
