Heading west August 11th with Canalix protein tubs. Great for a boost on late summer pastures, gor weaned calves and they can come with garlic for fly control. Please message or text 902 432 4771 if interested.

The PEI Cattle Producers recently presented a $1,477 donation to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation for the Pediatrics Unit, raised through this year's Canada Day Beef Box Promotion.

A sincere thank you to everyone who purchased tickets, as well as to our processors and vendors. Your generosity is helping make a difference for children and families at the QEH, while supporting local PEI beef producers.

My wife is a great cook. Whenever I am enjoying a home cooked meal she says my "tail is wagging"

I guess this heifer calf is enjoying her meal 🙂.

Attended an interesting and informative pasture walk last evening demonstrating a unique partnership between beef and potato producers.

This idea allows for direct manure application and intensive grazing that benefits both farmers. Amazing gps collar technology allows the cattle to be moved from your easy chair with your phone.

Thank you to the Department of Agriculture, and the participating farms for hosting us.

This is my post… about posts. 😄

Every fence post on our farm has gone into the ground one at a time. I’ve driven hundreds of them, but never all at once.

Life can feel overwhelming because we look at the whole fence instead of the next post.

The truth is, you don’t have to solve tomorrow’s problems today. You just have to do the right next thing.

Then one day you’ll turn around, look back, and realize that a long line of fence posts now stands where there used to be nothing. You’ll be amazed at what was accomplished by simply putting in one post at a time.

It’s simple. It’s hard. But you’ve got this.

Tag or share this with someone who needs a little encouragement today.
