Yesterday we hosted our sixth annual spring Food Farm with Agriculture in the Classroom SK. We had over 145 grade 3 students from four local schools come out to be educated about where their food comes from. From livestock to planting to farm safety and more, many different areas of food production was covered.

This was our second, and biggest, school group tour of 2026 so far. Next week we are hosting a grade 5 class and in the fall the grade 3s will return to learn even more! Educating the future generation about agriculture is SO important, and we want to do our part. Despite living in a rural community, many children had never been on a real farm before, and seeing their amazement and curiosity firsthand was incredible.

Seeding 2026 was wrapped up yesterday!

Thank you to our amazing crew for the dedication and long hours. Without them, none of this is possible. Despite the difficult spring, we finished in 15 days, averaging 1,726 acres a day.

Now we wait for the crop to grow and the rain to fall…
