My publisher Lisa Browning has asked her friends and writers to send this out. Lisa: “As you may have seen on social media and in GuelphToday, I have recently published the 2027 Art of Animal Advocacy fundraising calendar. It features drawings or paintings of animals, from 13 amazing artists. 100% of net proceeds from the sale of this calendar will form a working budget to enable me to publish children’s books in support of animal rescues and shelters, as well as other initiatives (ie Saplings Kids Club) to empower children and youth, through a connection to animals and the natural world around them.
I am hoping to reach as many people as I can, in order to sell as many calendars as I can ... which is why I’m asking for your help. I have attached a poster with a QR code leading to my website, for individual or bulk sales. Please help me spread the word about this initiative, by forwarding this email, and accompanying poster, to your friends, family, and associates .
I need to mention, also, that I take absolutely no money from this work. It is a passion project, born of my love for animals and my desire to make a difference in this world. I pay my illustrators (through my Aspiring Illustrators program, which provides high school students with exposure and experience in book illustration), and my printer (M&T Printing Group, who have always gone above and beyond, in my over 10 years of working with them).
