Hey everyone! I see a lot of new faces here so I thought it was time to do an introductory post.
So hi! My name is Pooja and Iโve founded Mini Muni with my sister Stuti.

I have a 3.5 yo daughter and when we first started our weaning journey with my daughter, we used a colorful array of plastic dinnerware and silicone cutlery. I even carried along my brightly colored plastic plates when I first took my daughter to visit India.
When we came back from India, my mom stashed a couple of small stainless steel plates that had been used in our home over generations. Use them just in case, she said.

Over time, our plastic dinnerware had scratches on them, some even bent in the dishwasher and our silicone spoons tasted like dishwashing soap. Desperate for options, I pulled out the steel plates my mom had given me and I watched over weeks as they didnโt stain, bend or smell. Some more reading on the subject opened my eyes on how many toxic chemicals we and our kids were ingesting even with โBPA-freeโ plastics.
As an Indian, I had grown up eating in stainless steel all my life, and I realized it was time to go back to our roots, where all the things we used were clean & non-toxic for ourselves as well as for Mother Earth.

This is how Mini Muni was born, with the goal of bringing clean, long-lasting and non-toxic products for your kids.
โTeach them youngโ, they say, and what better way to teach our kids to care of themselves and of our lovely planet than to teach by example and habit!
