We are happy to announce our hosting soon, of the only one of its kind of 'Farm Event' ever held in the GTA. An opportunity to visit a family farm, cook outdoors on a campfire along with a lot many others, and enjoy a delicious potluck lunch, all this amongst inquisitive farm animals and a little bit of rough farm terrain. HUNGRY SNAKES 😳🤭 around looking for prey after a long winter in hibernation. Can be anything from mice, small birds, insects, frogs and everything else that’s attracted to the grain we feed our animals. Start of another exciting year for every being that thrives here on the farm 🙂 - and yes, that includes us ☺️!!!

Kumta Farms entered its 3rd year since its founding on 10th Jan 2020. A happy tiding for us the birth of a baby goat doe, the sixth offspring this kidding season. It ventured out for it’s first time with Momma doe who is a great mother. We are just about half way through with just as many more goat kids on the way and expected by March 😊.

We recently bred our pure breed Holstein-Friesian heifer and expect calving in summer of 2022 of a female calf. Today's technology allows farmers to choose the s*x of the offspring at insemination. Holsteins are known as the world's highest-producing dairy animals. Having grown amongst our goats, she is as naughty and engaging as the goats ☺️👍

Baby goats! These are Saanen dairy goat kids bottle fed at the farm. Rescued from being processed for meat at just 4 months of their lives ☺️.
