Virtual Dinner Parties

These are very different times. So many of our friends and family have been impacted by the Stay-at-Home policy. So many have lost their regular livelihood. Those in the food service industry have been particularly hard hit, as restaurants close completely or limit themselves to Take Out.

My family was recently introduced to Meal Kits, and we were hooked! Part of the fun was trying new recipes, new spices, new dishes that we never would have attempted before. As we did, we found that we encountered ingredients, cooking terms and procedures that we had never encountered. Exciting. But a little intimidating as we worked to deliver it all to the plate, on time, not burnt, not under-cooked, and attractively displayed. As we did, we sure could have done with a little guidance.

Around about the same time as we were introduced to Meal Kits, we were introduced to ZOOM Meetings with Game Night among extended family. Great fun, and a wonderful way to share the At-Home experience. Pretty soon, we were sharing ZOOM Dinners with friends.

We put these two things together, and are proud to bring you professional chefs, working from their home, to guide you through some pretty exciting cooking and dining experiences with Canada’s Meal Kits. Your CovidaChef is online right with you, explaining ingredients, giving you background on the food styles you are about to enjoy, helping you keep on track and on time with helpful tips on food preparation. They can even help you select just the right wine to go along with your meal for you and your guests - if you haven't already opened a bottle before the session starts.

So enjoy your professional chef as you prepare some wonderful meals together. You are helping the world by staying home, and you are helping some folks that you normally don’t see, (because they are in the back preparing the meals you used to enjoy out) to earn a living while on this extended break.
