Out culling invasive phragmites which have doubled in area since earlier summer culling. We break the stem ahead of flowering but deeper root pulling is needed. Had some heavy winds brought down some trees. Saw how healthy the pond is with a family of 10 turtles (many jumped in from the log). Not many mosquitos despite my hat.
