So much brush - out clearing trails and danger zones - in one section, three invasive trees were down but also a beautiful maple and a bunch of widow makers. all ice storm damage.

Limited run in 2025 thanks to the ice storm but we have 6 1 L bottles of gold at $40 and a half dozen 500ml of pre ice storm early run sweetness $20. Dm if interested! We run out every xmas.

Exciting drive in the back - so much wildlife - today we saw a moose mom and two kids - rather dangerous so we carried on. First time we’ve seen the cow.

Lot of moose tracks, dear and tracked 26 different birds using Cornell U’s Merlin bird id app. Also noted buckthorn where Ive not seen it before. Must resume cutting down buckthorn.

Windy day - brought new limbs down (good!) - which means clearing trails is needed again. Water is quite high - the beaver has made a new dam but water is high everywhere.

Planted 50 sugar and red maples - moving around to where damage was. It didnt go very far - tried to avoid silly poplars.
