POV: It's 2019 and O&F just launched 🤍
Our 7 year anniversary just passed (June 1st) and I have some taken some time to truly reflect on these years that seem to have flown by.
Looking through these photos feels a little surreal.
When these were taken, Olive & Fig was just me with sprinkles of George. No team, no commercial kitchen, no refusing orders because we are at capacity, no grazing tables for hundreds of guests. Just a condo kitchen, a lot of ambition, and a belief that beautiful food could bring people together.
At the time, I had no idea where this little business would take me. I truly that it was a hobby that I would eventually tire of like everything else I tried out as a hobby. I was saying yes to opportunities, learning as I went, celebrating every order, and pouring everything I had into building something from scratch.
Seven years later, Olive & Fig has grown into a 2,800 sq. ft. space, a team of 9 incredible people, and the opportunity to be part of thousands of celebrations.
Looking back, I'm reminded that every business starts somewhere. These photos are a reminder of mine.
Thank you to everyone who supported Olive & Fig in those early days, and to everyone who continues to support us today. None of this would have been possible without you.
