Winetasters of Toronto

Winetasters of Toronto We are the original GTA w**e club offering unique and rare tastings open to everyone who loves w**e!

We are the Greater Toronto Area’s oldest non-profit w**e club offering members unique affordable tastings (w**es at historical cost, not current replacement cost), a chance to network with other w**e enthusiasts and collectors, and an opportunity to learn more about w**e from various w**e professionals who lead our tastings. Our tasting events are held on the second Wednesday of each month from September through June. All events (except December) are in the North York Memorial Community Hall, 5110 Yonge Street (lower level, under the library). We highly recommend that tasters take the TTC: the North York Centre subway stop is handy. If you insist on driving, there’s parking in the building (enter off Beecroft, one block west of Yonge).

Few names in Montalcino are more recognized than Fattoria dei Barbi. The Colombini family has been crafting Brunello since 1790, preserving the tradition of this iconic w**e.

This May, Winetasters presents an 8-bottle journey through the estate, featuring rare library vintages back to 2004, a unique opportunity to experience aged Brunello without the collector’s premium.

Explore the evolution of Sangiovese through Riservas, vintage comparisons, and a historic single-vineyard expression, including standout w**es like the 2004 Riserva and the exceptional 2015 vintage.

This April, the Winetasters of Toronto invite you to explore one of Burgundy’s most compelling rivalries: Chassagne-Montrachet vs. Puligny-Montrachet. Sharing a border but expressing entirely different personalities, one reveals power and opulence, while the other embodies precision, minerality, and elegance.

This curated tasting offers a rare opportunity to experience both communes across three standout vintages (2015–2017) and mature 2008 Premier Cru selections, offering a true vertical-meets-horizontal comparison.

With an average bottle value exceeding $200, this is a unique chance to explore w**es typically reserved for critics and collectors.
