The young farmers in. Delta are still chowing on Kale and Swiss Chard!
We are lucky in our mild climate! I have one school farm that has a six foot high "Dinosaur Kale" that has survived 5 winters and is still going strong! It has probably fed 500 kids over the years!

If we are to truly achieve , we need to do a far better job of not only teaching young people about the food economy, but also educating the public at large who often take the value of ALR land and farming operations for granted.
