Today is World Teachers AppreciationDay! 🍎🌏
Today we want to recognize and thank the incredible teachers and school staff who show up every day for our kids, our schools, and our community.
This week, we have the privilege of preparing lunches for the staff at Tumbler Ridge Elementary and Tumbler Ridge Secondary School on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
It is especially meaningful to us to be able to do this for the people who continue to care for and support our community.
We also want to extend a very special thank-you to the Alberta Teachers’ Association and the teachers from across the North West who made this happen. 🙏❤️
This thoughtful act of kindness and generosity came from the Northern Spirit, High Prairie, Grande Prairie Catholic, Trumpeter and Greater Peace ATA locals, along with the Provincial Executive Council of the ATA.
Your kindness means so much.
I was told many of the teachers that helped fund theses lunches have connections to Tumbler Ridge — some have family and friends here, some have spent time in our community, and some have even taught here.
From all of us at Kitchen & Catering, thank you for thinking of Tumbler Ridge and for showing up for our teachers. ❤️
And to every teacher and school staff member: thank you for everything you do, every single day.
Happy World Teachers Day!
