I'm gonna try something a little different this week. Something I've been thinking of for a very long time.

Beef Quesabirria - braised beef in a pan fried tortilla with cheese and a side of cilantro and onion. (a mix between a quesadillas and taco with a dipping broth...a Mexican beef dip if you will)

On the side and not to be overshadowed is Birria Raman with more braised beef fresh toppings and incredible Raman noodles.

We know it's been a long winter, but we are happy to announce our to-go series for the next few weeks!!

Again, we will be taking a culinary journey around the world, but to start off, we must go where it all started in Mexico!!

This Wednesday we will be offering a Mexican classic CHICKEN TINGA TACOS!!! Slowly Braised chicken in a delicious chilli and tomato broth served with cilantro, lime crema and our house slaw and a side of homemade salsa roja & Tapatio Hot sauce!!

This will be served with Nachos and salsa con queso (cheese yummy salsa) and a piece of our famous Skor cheesecake!!!

Seems down the roads we travel we seek and need validation from time to time to help us move forward. These two individuals are there everytime I find it.

To our ever so valued Customers Having worked in restaurants most of my life I knew how much time and work it would be to get Trip Taco up and running. We also didn't know if we were even going to open at all this year. What I also didn't know or expect was how much love and support we would actually receive as we took this huge step in our lives. It has been overwhelming how many of you have come and returned over and over again. On top of that you have shared my little dream with your family and friends helping build it into something bigger than I could've imagined. Thank you for sharing us with others, thank you for you patronage and most of all thank you for your time that you have given to come enjoy our humble tiny taco shop. Travis Berlenbach, owner of Trip Taco offers anyone without power soup and sandwiches as a result of last weekend's windstorm.

Had a delicious chicken tinga+ dinner from Trip Taco tonight. First time trying it, but will not be our last!

Rob and I both loved everything, very flavourful! The salsa roja was👌🏼. Delish! 🌮

Looking forward to trying out some more this summer (you should too!) I believe they’ll be opening back up for the season sometime in May - watch for it!

We are so close to travelling again, but sometimes you just need a little 'taste' of a getaway. I'm lucky to have an amazing Taco truck near my home. This weekend we had some amazing Tacos and carnitas from Trip Taco Truck, near Peterborough. So yummy. And an ice cold Ting from Jamaica. 😃

Just had dinner at Trip Taco and the food was fantastic. The portions are large too. They have a very creative menu. In fact, the next time I'm going to try the Tac Mac, or maybe it is the Mac Tac. Either way it is like having a Big Mac in a Taco shell. I can't wait.
Extremely friendly service. Prices are quite reasonable.
