I'm not even hungry and now I want Steak & asparagus. This sounds fantastic!
🥩🔥 BBQ Steak & Asparagus Power Bowl 🔥🥩
Fresh. Flavourful. Naturally gluten-free.
This is the kind of meal that makes summer in Alberta taste so good. Fresh asparagus, smoky BBQ potatoes, a juicy steak, and the perfect combination of Jake's Seasonings.
Ingredients
🥩 For the Steak
2 steaks (sirloin, striploin, or ribeye)
1 tbsp olive oil
1-2 tbsp Jake's Original Seasoning
🥔🌿 For the Vegetables
1 lb baby potatoes, halved
1 bunch fresh asparagus
2 tbsp olive oil
1-2 tbsp Jake's Lemon Pepper Seasoning
🥗 For the Bowl
2 cups fresh spinach or mixed greens
Optional: avocado, cherry tomatoes, green onions
Fresh lemon wedges
Directions
🥔 Step 1: BBQ the Potatoes Toss the potatoes with olive oil and Jake's Lemon Pepper. Place them in a grill basket or foil packet and cook over medium heat for 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally.
🌿 Step 2: Grill the Asparagus Toss asparagus with olive oil and Jake's Lemon Pepper. Grill for 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp with a little char.
🥩 Step 3: Grill the Steak Rub the steak with olive oil and season generously with Jake's Original Seasoning. Grill to your preferred doneness, then let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
🥗 Step 4: Build Your Bowl Start with a bed of fresh spinach or mixed greens. Add the grilled potatoes, asparagus, and sliced steak. Top with avocado, tomatoes, or green onions if desired.
