Dave brings a background of fifteen-plus years in the restaurant business in Canada, including experience as chef, cook, server, manager, owner and dishwasher. Along the way there have been forays as a zine publisher, journalist, writer, filmmaker, actor, event planner, and punk rock band member, all of which inform Dave's 'Do-It-Yourself' ethos. A childhood in eastern Ontario spent among an extended family of gardeners, cooks, farmers and homesteaders laid the foundation and sparked the passion for a life dedicated to authentic food experiences. Our Story

Seasons Harvest is a purveyor of British Columbia produce, based in Kelowna in the Okanagan Valley. The business is focused on sourcing seasonal ingredients for the culinary industry in the Okanagan through the Canadian Rockies and as far as Calgary. Seasons Harvest partners with a network of small-scale sustainable producers to supply the widest possible range of top quality goods. By selecting exclusive crops direct from farms, then packing, transporting, and delivering directly, Seasons Harvest ensures customers receive premium product with long shelf life and a pedigree of sustainable production practices. Established in 2009, Seasons Harvest has a long history of reliable, quality and personal service. As of spring 2019, it is owned and operated by us - Jim and Nicole Hamilton. We have been small business owners for almost 20 years, mainly in the construction industry and most recently adding outdoor adventure to the resume in the form of owning and operating the ice tower at Big White Ski Resort. We felt a change was in the air and through a series of fortunate events, we found ourselves taking over this amazing business from Dave Kyte. We love the premise of this company as we are already personally committed to sustainable practices, are community oriented, believe in supporting other small businesses, and are committed to feeding our family mostly locally grown, and preferably organic food. Living in the Okanagan makes these goals very attainable and having the chance to share our good fortune with more of BC and Alberta felt like a great fit!
