We had a great proof run again on CDN with 14 of the top 16 gLPI cows and 8 of the top 12 gpaLPI heifers carrying the Gubelman prefix.

Congratulations to our fellow exhibitors and organizers of the Hanover fair for putting on a fantastic show today!

Our string was Katrina with Gubelman Dionysus Chicago P and Rachel with Gubelman Dionysus Papaya P both in the winter calf class. Erika with Gubelman Dionysus Flora 5th and Sam with Gubelman Octagon Maxine 8th in the senior calf class. Courtney and Gubelman Prince Key 3rd place summer yearling. Simon and Gubelman Nashville Dosie 2nd place (1st 4-H) spring yearling. Flora, Key and Dosie were 3rd place junior herd.
Gubelman Perfection Ferrero was 1st place junior 3 year old and Gubelman Jonmar Detroit was 2nd place 4 year old. Detroit, Ferrero and Flora were 2nd place breeders herd. Ferrero and Flora 1st progeny of dam. Especially exciting was to see 5 200BS01011 Gubelman Dionysus P daughters at the show including the 1st place spring calf Norbella Dionysus Ladybug P!

Classifier Dave Weitzel was here last week scoring our cows. After a revisit it is now official. Gubelman Jonmar Detroit is now max score VG 89 3 year old. Earlier in the spring Detroit had won grand champion in the Huron county Holstein club breeders cup! Highlights

Gubelman O Malley Katrina EX90 is the #1 gLPI cow in the country, she is followed by her little sister Gubelman Octagon Kimmy VG 2 year old, Gubelman Boxer P Karma P, Gubelman Pactole Maple VG 88 2nd lactation and Gubelman O Malley Kiwi VG87 round out the top 5.

maternal cousin Gubelman Jonmar Detroit VG88 won Grand Champion in
this year’s Huron County Holstein club breeders cup! The first ever coloured breed cow to win this award in Canada.

Last night the Huron County Holstein club held their annual breeders social where they released the results of their breeders cup competition. They have been allowing all breeds to enter their competition for 4 years now We entered 2 cows in each class again this year. Our 1st lactation animals were Gubelman Boxer Blue VG87 and Gubelman Octagon Kimmy VG85. Our second lactation entries were Gubelman Jonmar Detroit VG88 and Gubelman Kasper Cookie VG88. Our 3rd+ lactation entries were Gubelman Kingsley Darby EX92 just fresh the 5th time and Gubelman Olympic Kit Kat EX91.
We are excited to announce that Judge Chris Stevens selected Gubelman Jonmar Detroit, 1st in the second lactation class and Grand Champion! Thank you so much to the Huron County Holstein club for allowing us to enter our cows in this competition and congratulations to our fellow Huron county farmers on entering 58 great cows this year!
