Do you know how many times people have said our name wrong? Too many.

It’s been butchered in ways we didn’t even think were possible.

And we’ve had enough, it’s time to set the record straight.

But honestly, we can’t blame you… it’s a tongue-twister 🤷

Clinton: “We’re here to network…”

Marc: *Already schmoozing everyone to get free samples*

What did you expect? 😅 At least one of us had a blast at Alberta Food Fair.

We met the geniuses behind our pretzel cracker recipe from Alberta Food Processing Development Centre, 🙌 and thanks to Local Loaf who baked up fresh batches of our pretzel crackers, Alberta got first dibs on trying our pretzel cracker 👀

We also meet so many amazing brands and the founders behind them, seriously Alberta’s got talent!

Thank you to Made in Alberta & the Alberta Food Processing Development Centre for nudging us to sign up, it was so worth it! 🤗

The entire event felt so inclusive, and everyone got lunch and pretzel crackers, so no one was hungry! 😋

And since Halloween’s near, we made a spooky but cute barley mascot too! 🎃

Freson Bros, we hope to be snackin’ on your shelves soon—pretzel crackers included! 🤞

We Gave Out 200 Banana Bread Slices 😋

To celebrate and spread the word that our mixes are now available at Harvest Market on UBC 🙌

Shoutout to UBC Food Services and Sage Catering for preparing our samples using our mixes for Meet Your Maker, where the UBC community meets the people behind the food served on campus.

The only thing people loved as much as the unique taste of our banana bread, was learning about the story of how we’re upcycling spent grain into barley flour that’s then used in our baked goods 💚

Daija also snagged some for her friends, and now they’re hooked.

Sadly, there wasn’t enough time to give out all our samples, we blame the rain, so we gave students living in residence the last 40 slices to snack on for free!

Marc ditched us at UBC Sauder Homecoming 🙄

An event meant to celebrate alumni entrepreneurs like him

Luckily, we were too busy handing out pretzel crackers to care

Plus, we filmed some hilarious moments and squeezed in a little trivia on food waste — winners scored a can of Lass Chance Beverage Co. 🎁

We came to Car Free Days with ONE mission 😎

Educating people about food waste 💡

Thanks to Lass Chance Beverage Co., we gave out free fruit sodas, made from misfit fruits rejected by retailers, to those who participated 🙌

Some groups of kids were so enthusiastic about getting the questions right to win, that we had the entire block looking at us when they got one right 😅
