In the wee hours, after a whirlwind tour around Europe meeting producers, eating and drinking around, with the finale my wine diploma graduation, I feel grateful, but I now wake up (still) far too early.
This morning I was thinking about life, happiness and how the systems we interact with everyday, like social, that set us up to compare ourselves continually to the lives of others. Everyone has their own journey to walk and no two journeys are the same. To win the game is to find joy in where you are now. Everyday. Choosing my own adventure has been an important concept in my life and this lead me to wine.
What keeps me thinking is do I contribute to the collective good, adding something positive to the digital world or is it just vacuous waste of everyone’s time.
That for me is our current challenge, I see the younger generations, struggling with critical thought, problem solving and social interaction, I believe we need to show them how to go analog, have in person conversations with strangers and develop opinions that are all their own, without getting fatally wounded by the smallest slight.
