Gf sourdough starter. It’s a great time of year to make a starter as the fruits on your local trees and bushes are abundant in wild yeasts. You can capture them by soaking your fruit in water and using that to feed your starter. You should have a robust, productive starter in days rather than weeks! 🍞 🫶

This is the silliest thing I have ever seen. We grow the cucumbers, we make the jars, we send the jars and cucumbers to the states, tariffed on the way down, then they pack them, add their lids, then tariffed when they come back to Canada.

No mention of, say, just packing them in Canada?

Surely we have a packer in one of these cities that can handle pickles…..

And are they trying to say canada doesn’t make aluminum lids?

It is just so silly. Nobody is thinking straight.
