The evening begins with a glass of 2024 Bubble and gourmet canapés before guests gather around beautiful harvest tables for a five course, completely vegan dinner created by Chef Chris Byrne. Each locally sourced, whole food and gluten free dish is thoughtfully paired with a wine from Karlo Estates’ award winning portfolio.

The food is always incredible, the setting is beautiful, and every pairing makes the experience even more memorable. It’s easily one of my favourite things to do in Prince Edward County.

Less than 40 kilometres north of Toronto, Gallucci Winery feels like a little escape to Italy, without leaving Stouffville.

This family owned and operated winery offers plenty of handcrafted wines to explore, from full bodied reds and easy drinking whites to rosé and sparkling. I enjoyed their sparkling wine with lunch on the vineyard view patio, and it was the perfect pairing.

The food was every bit as memorable as the wine. Each dish arrived beautifully presented and full of flavour, and I had the pleasure of meeting the incredibly talented chef whose passion came through in every plate.

I also met the wonderful owners, whose warmth and genuine hospitality made the entire visit feel extra special.

If you’re looking for a wine country escape with beautiful wines, incredible food and a patio overlooking the vines, add Gallucci Winery to your must visit list.

Yesterdays Summer Loft Pop-Up with Juice Wine Co | Winemaker X Sommelier was such a beautiful way to spend a summer afternoon: incredible wine, seasonal food and genuinely great company. It was so nice to catch up with friends while tasting through the winery’s 2025 single vineyard collection.

Their labels are inspired by ampelography, the traditional practice of identifying grape varieties by studying their leaves, bringing wine, education, history and modern art together.
