When in Vietnam, visit all the coffee shops 🇻🇳🤎☕️⁣

📍Trinh Ca Phe (Danang) ⁣

Daily coffees were a thing! One of my fave activities was to look for new spots to get my caffeine boost every day.⁣

There are honestly SO many cute/aesthetic cafes in the city and best part is you’re not overpaying for drinks to enjoy the ambiance. My fave drinks in Danang were either salted coffee🧂 or coconut coffee 🥥⁣⁣⁣

Cutest pop-up! 🛸☄️💫👽⁣

Stumbled upon this space themed pop-up on my Korea trip last year and it was so cool. FREE entry too! ⁣

Adorable space themed limited edition plushies but what I loved the most was going through the entire thing and seeing all the fun decor and animations. ⁣

So much thought put into a pop-up and it was super well put together. Love that Seongsu has a lot of these, so definitely make a visit next time you’re in Seoul and stay tuned for new pop-up concepts! ⁣

Elevated Vancouver restaurants pt.1 - June ⁣

📍June On Cambie - 3305 Cambie St, Vancouver BC

Planning to share a series of restaurants that in my opinion are more elevated and suitable for either a date night or GNO (Girls Night Out for those who aren’t familiar, perhaps my male followers 😂)⁣

Never got to post about this spot when I went last October while they were still a relatively new. But I enjoyed my visit! Dim, intimate and cool vibes. Plus they have live DJ 🎵 some nights and a pretty good late night Happy Hour. ⁣

Food wise, I quite liked their signature “Pasta for Rachel” which I personally thought was worth the hype. The mussels were also delicious and the Chocolate Mousse is a MUST!! One of my favourite “restaurant desserts” in the city. ⁣

[🇯🇵 Japan Recommendation] Mysterious emoji restaurant in Kyoto 🦆🍜⁣

📍

Might be obvious now but this restaurant that only uses emojis in its name and menu is actually a ramen restaurant specializing in duck ramen. ⁣

Had it bookmarked for so many years and finally got to visit during my last trip to Kyoto in May. ⁣

Very unique and my first time trying duck ramen in general. Although compared to many other ramen joints in Japan it’s definitely not as cheap. Which largely is due to the use of a premium duck/genrral ingredients and the overall concept and branding of the restaurant. I did enjoy it though and thought it was worth trying.⁣

Super small inside with quite limited seating so do expect a line when you go (I waited for ~40 minutes on a Saturday at 1:40pm) ⁣

💰Duck Ramen: ¥2,420 = $15USD/$21CAD⁣
💰Dipping Noodle: ¥2,970 = $19USD/$26CAD⁣
⏰ Hours: 10am-9pm daily⁣
📍Address: Japan, 〒605-0073 Kyoto, Higashiyama Ward, Gionmachi Kitagawa, 329 1 階D号⁣

($22 on Tues/Thurs) ⁣

[Must Try 🇯🇵] One of my fave dessert shops in Kyoto 🍵🍡⁣⁣
⁣⁣
📍 - 〒600-8182 Kyoto, Shimogyo Ward, 101-2⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
They’re a sweets shop known for “wasanbon” which is a speciality sugar that’s light and fluffy in texture. Definitely get an order of the “sticky rice balls with ice cream” in Milk (Wasanbon) flavour. ⁣SO yummy! ⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Matcha latte was also great. Each order of drinks come with a mini sponge cake which I thought was a nice touch! ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
💰Rough Pricing:⁣⁣
•⁣Wasanbon Matcha Latte: ¥850 = $5.33USD/$7.43CAD⁣
•⁣Wasanbon Cafe Latte: ¥750 = $4.70USD/$6.50CAD⁣
•Milk (Wasanbon) Sticky Rice Balls w/ Ice Cream: ¥1,100 = $6.90USD/$9.61CAD⁣
