Mom by day and cookie decorator by night. I have an honours degree in Graphic Design and I been an avid baker all my life. I have combined both my passions into creating my custom sugar cookie business. I make a huge variety of hand decorated sugar cookies - no edible printers here. Whatever shape or design you can think of - I can make into a cookie. They are fresh and tasty and a great addition

to any party, event or just an everyday treat. Last February I was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer and after the past year I'm on a steady track and I want to expand my little company and get my name known throughout Vancouver as "The Cookie Lady"

May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month 🩶.
Last year I had the privilege of making cookies for the attendees of the Canadian Neuro-Oncology Meeting hosted here in Vancouver.
It was a project that held a special place in my heart. 🧠✨

After some time away from cookie decorating, I’m back in the kitchen and getting ready for an exciting season ahead.

Today marks one full year since my seizure that led us to the discovery of my brain tumor.

Mid market, mid day I went down.
Through an MRI and a CT scan they found the mass in my brain and could tell it looked cancerous... and unfortunately after my surgery in Janurary they were indeed correct.

I am so grateful to my surgeon, my oncologist all and the amazing staff at BC Cancer Hospital. Thankful for a treatment plan, Thankful to Andrew and to my little Robyn for understanding things beyond her age ❤️

Time to get back to baking and to all the things that used to make me happy 😊

Get ready for the cookie love 🥰

(P.s. yes one of the cookies has a brain tumor like mine.)

~ Under the cherry blossom tree, I find sanctuary, a place where time stands still, and the world is painted in shades of pink and serenity. ~

Today makes it 4 months since my surgery, and I'm slowly getting back into my cookies.

It's just a bump on the road... but my results have come back and I have been diagnosed with a form of Brain Cancer at 34.

I have worked so hard in the last year getting my little cookie company up and running and I absolutely refuse to let this stop me 💪

My surgery went very well and I am recovering great but I will need some treatment over the next few months.

So for now remember...

Live every moment.
Love beyond words.
Laugh everyday ❤️

Goodbye 2023... I feel I have so much to say about this past year, so much happiness, so much to be proud of, beautiful memories, laughter and lots of hard work. Thanks to everyone who has supported me over the past year and my amazing customers over this Christmas also.

Unfortunately I will not be able to take any more orders due for the month of January because of some health issues. I normally don't like to speak out about myself but doctors found I have a brain tumor and I am in for surgery next week, I will need a few weeks for recovery before I'm back to myself.
I will continue to keep posting some of my previous orders but I won't be stepping foot in the kitchen.

An amazing person used to always tell me... "Onwards and Upwards" and so here I go into 2024 with this mindset. This year I promise to be better to myself and to give myself time and I feel like this should be my tip to all of you also.
