owner Michelle used to work in the technology industry but always had a passion for making pastries, travelling and photography.

She decided to leave a career in product management to pursue her passion and attend the world-renowned culinary school, ル・コルドン・ブルー・ジャパン Le Cordon Bleu Japan 👩‍🍳

After completing the Advanced French Patisserie Program, she moved back to Canada and started working as a pastry chef at a catering company.

Founded in April 2024, Toffee Pop joined us at Coho Powell to scale their productions while maintaining high quality products with an artisanal touch. They're on a mission to infuse every bite with warmth, nostalgia, and the simple pleasure of life's sweetest moments.

Booster Scoops Protein Desserts makes High Protein Frozen Desserts that taste just like your favourite ice cream 🍨

Alex launched Booster Scoops this year as a way of combining his two favourite things: ice cream and working out 💪

With four inaugural flavours including Gorilla Vanilla, Chonkolate, Strawngberry, and Barbell Caramel, each pint contains 50 grams of protein while also being low in calories.

This summer we welcomed Booster Scoops Protein Desserts to the commissary community at Coho Powell 🤗

Owner Alex works the evening shift, coming to the kitchen to mix and package his protein ice cream after his 9-5 job during the week.

Being new to the food & beverage industry, Alex has felt supported by Coho's onboarding process, as well as the community within our shared kitchens.

"This was one step towards changing the dream of entrepreneurship into a reality. It's also a great opportunity to connect with other small food businesses and share our wisdom and experience, celebrate the victories, and get through the tough times together."
