Taiwanese Egg Waffle Pop-up at Meiggo Eggo 🍳🥚

❤️ After work, Natalie and I went to Canada Place to hunt for tasty bites! We found the cutest Taiwanese egg waffle pop-up at the Junction Public Market, and the aroma pulled us right in. It's a traditional treat from Taiwan! 🍰

🥚 Meiggo Eggo has six flavors, both sweet and savory: Original, Custard, Milk Cream, Cheese, Ham, and Takoyaki 🐙. After chatting with the friendly owner (who even lived in Chengdu!), we couldn’t resist trying them all! My personal favorites? The Takoyaki, Ham, and Cheese. Soft, flavorful, and a little gooey—just delicious! I took home a box for my boyfriend too.

Wow, what a summer it has been at our pop-up in downtown Vancouver! 🌞 We loved seeing so many of you stop by for a taste of our traditional Taiwanese egg cakes — a street snack that brought back childhood memories for so many of you! 🧁 The feedback on our six unique flavors, from the classic custard to the savory prosciutto, has been incredible!

We’re also reminiscing about our collaboration with 🍙 for the Sip Over Vancouver event, where we treated you to free bubble tea, fun games, and cute giveaways! 🎁 If you missed it, don’t worry, there's still time to visit us until the end of September. Thank you, Vancouver, for joining us at the first-ever Vancouver Hand-Shaken Festival! 🎉 It was such a blast collaborating with 🍙 and seeing everyone enjoy free bubble tea, fun games, and, of course, our freshly made Taiwanese egg cakes! 🧁🍹

We loved watching you try all six of our unique flavors — from the sweet and creamy Milk Butter Paste (made with authentic Taiwanese milk crisps!) to the perfect balance of sweet and savory with our prosciutto flavor. Your support has been amazing, and we’re so grateful for the wonderful turnout. 🙏

🇨🇦 This egg cake in Vancouver is surprisingly delicious…

After finishing a shoot at Canada Place this morning, I wanted to find a simple meal nearby… so I walked to Junction Public Market and was immediately drawn to this egg cake shop 🥰. I usually don’t care much for sweet things but decided to give it a try, thinking I’d just experiment out of curiosity… little did I know it would taste so good 🥳. Personally, I really like the tako (octopus) and cheese flavors 😊. Unfortunately, this place is closing soon at the end of this month… so I highly recommend everyone to go check it out quickly 💨. Hope the owner arranges everything smoothly and takes a break 🥲.
