Hello Okanagan!! Who Likes Their Water!?
About a month ago, we made a poll asking the people on our local rant and raves about their thoughts on finding a way to recycle around 25%-50% of their water so that we can do are part to help reduce waste water.
This initiative is a priority for us, particularly due to our recently dire water restrictions, consistent fires, and of course our dying home landscapes.
Our local people did not disappoint on their support on the matter!
We received nearly 500 comments in total, with many fantastic questions and knowledge to help make sure that this was a possibility for us to make happen.
The poll results showed:
* About 95% of people are interested in the matter.
* About 28% of people were absolutely sure that greywater recycling should be of a serious consideration or even mandatory.
*About 65% of people were concerned about the cost of the change.
* About 2% of people said that this would not be worth considering.
Due to the outstanding results of the poll, and alot of code compliant research, we have decided that this is absolutely a service we will be providing!
