Lots of excitement followed by silence as everyone fills their mouth.

First official graze of the season. We let the herd out for about 15 minutes then brought them back to the dry-lot. We’ll do this every day while increasing their grazing time to help their digestive system get acclimatized and avoid scours. Everyone was very happy to come out, less so after they ate the alfalfa pellets (read bribe) in their feeder and realized they were locked in, away from the fresh green stuff.

Charlotte doesn’t have the strongest Roman nose but has length all over (ears, legs and body) and is becoming so graceful. She’s also the most easy going kid around. Love her!
