🍍Restock mode: ON! 🍍

One of our biggest spring hits is back in production — Raspberry Pineapple Cheesecake and our Real Fruit Candy are making their way through the kitchen again!

These were incredibly well received at events this spring. Customers loved the balance of sweet pineapple and tart raspberry, and it’s become one of those flavours people ask about again and again.

This photo is exactly what I mean when I say we’re restocking. These sold out so quickly, and we’re working hard to catch up. We’re also almost completely out of our regular Cookie Dough candy and Cookie Dough Cheesecake — two flavours that received incredible feedback all season long.

Today the girls are spending the day with my parents, which means I get a little extra time to tackle a growing restock list before another amazing homeschool event tomorrow. One of the things I love most about this business is that it fits around our family’s priorities. Homeschooling and time with our girls come first, and I build the business in the spaces in between.

I couldn’t do that without my parents. They help in so many ways — spending time with the girls, helping with shopping trips, making deliveries, and jumping in wherever they’re needed. Their support has been a huge part of helping both our family and this business grow, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything they do. Most of all, I love seeing the close relationship they have with our girls. ❤️

It’s a busy season, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Now, back to the cheesecake and the seven other projects I’m working on 😍

Today was such a great day at the Waterford Sportsman’s Club with my girls and my husband ❤️

This was our last event until September, and honestly, it feels like the perfect way to wrap up a very busy season. Over the next few months we’ll still be keeping our amazing wholesale customers stocked, freeze drying local produce, and taking a much needed step back to enjoy summer with our family — camping, kayaking, and of course bringing along our shelf stable snacks for all the adventures 😅

I just want to say thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last several months at all the different events, markets, and pop ups. I’ve met so many wonderful people along the way and I’m incredibly grateful for every purchase, kind word, and returning customer.

I’m also so proud of my family. This business truly takes all of us — from making products, packing bags, taste testing, helping at markets, loading and unloading the van, and everything in between. There are so many behind the scenes moments people never see.

Building this business has been a lot of hard work, but looking back today, I’m really proud of what we’ve created together ❤️

☀️🌷 We know many of you have been waiting for an update….and we’re happy to share that Berkelbloem will be OPEN this long weekend from 10am–5pm Saturday, Sunday + Monday!

To celebrate our final weekend of the season, we’ll be continuing to offer late-bloom pricing at just $10 + hst per ticket (kids 5 and under are free).

While some of our early tulip varieties have naturally gone through their bloom cycle, our late-bloom tulips are still showing off and ready to be enjoyed 🌷

Did you know we use Hewitt’s 35% whipping cream in our cheesecakes? 🙌

Why? Because the ingredient list is exactly what we want: just cream. Hewitt’s describes its whipping cream as all-natural with no artificial flavours, preservatives, or additives, and lists the ingredient simply as Cream. 

For comparison, Sealtest 35% whipping cream lists: Cream, Milk, Carrageenan, Cellulose gum, Mono and diglycerides, Polysorbate 80. 

So while many brands add stabilizers, gums, and emulsifiers to help with texture and shelf stability, Hewitt’s keeps it beautifully simple.

Our choice:
✔ Just cream
✔ No polysorbates
✔ No gums
✔ No emulsifiers

Cleaner ingredients matter here — because what goes into our cheesecakes matters just as much as how they taste.
