Murphy Cattle Co.

Well the intended mid summer update has turned into an end of summer recap.
And it’s not because we were just chilling and enjoying the summer… well maybe the cows were…
Spring was busy during breeding season and we are excited to see the results of those efforts!
Then the cows went out to green grass and rain… lots of rain, but boy are we happy with the grass and how the calves look! Not to mention the dugouts are full again. Can’t complain about that.
The nephews worked on some of the show string this summer and ended the summer at the Alberta Junior Angus Show and Canadian Nationals.
With weaning time right around the corner, we are looking forward to seeing how these calves develop and have the cows graze long into the fall. For those starting to harvest, may it be plentiful and safe!
