Tanya here: Today I was in a bad mood, it happens, so I banged out a new garden plot which shall be called the Apothecary (for biennial or perennials herbs and such). It’s amazing how using aggression or getting one’s frustration out helps in the gardens sometimes. Especially for shovelling soil, pulling w**ds, slamming, pushing, throwing, you get it. It doesn’t look like much now it’s about damn time we made a new permanent bed and I feel better now. Got mint and sage in there so far. What other perennials should I source friends? P.S. this bed is also how I used up old w**d papers that were taking up room in our drive shed, off cuts and such laid diagonal on a 50 x 30 foot plot and put to use.

You can’t have a rainbow without a little rain. It’s like a garden in the sky. Also Happy Pride Month from us here at the farm. Now that we have a flag pole, the first flag to go up is yours, proudly waving in front of our barn. 🌈
