This is a friendly reminder that our farm is not a playground. We love you coming and enjoying your pint of gelato, tub of curds or chocolate milk and enjoying the sights. Please do NOT play or allow your children to play on the giant white tarp of our cows winter feed. One tiny hole can destroy the entire thing which would devastate our farm. Due to bio security we would also ask that you stay away from the barns. The cows are all on pasture and you can see them from the road. We are a working family farm that has to keep our cows #1 and unfortunately that doesn't allow free access. We are very grateful for every single customer. Our creamery store is self serve but our farm is not. Thanks for understanding!

Over the weekend we had the all breeds classifier from Holstein Canada come out and look at some of our cows, we were very happy with the results! Our cows are graded based on their physical appearance on a scale of 1- 100, Kolette in the picture is currently our highest cow scoring Excellent 92 as a 3rd calver! (Cows can only go 90 or higher after they have 3 calves) We also had 3 2 year old cows go very good 85, all in all a great day, and some others maintain their excellent status earning another "E"

The icing on the cake was the classifier, Claude from Quebec told us how excited he was to have our curds again, if a Quebecer says something like that it's a true compliment!

Womp womp, the vending machine is out of Whole Jersey Milk. We made just enough for our deliveries, which went out today and tomorrow to the mainland. We do have lots of chocolate and all our cheeses:) The milk will be restocked Friday morning

We took a tiny break this week and went to Moncton to meet up with my dad who was there for meetings. We got to check out the zoo and magnetic hill which was fun! The sad thing is that we are not going to have much milk for the farmers market tomorrow, we do have lots of cheese and we'll bring extra brie!

Save this idea for your next grill night!

We had a small tenderloin in the freezer which I always would pan fry and that would give me the opportunity to throw some curds in the pan for a pre supper snack (if you haven't tried this I highly recommend🤯), but when Craig our delivery driver told me I should try stuffing peppers with storm dip and grilling them "until the bottom is black" I couldn't pick just one! Turns out BBQing curds also works! And were those stuffed peppers delicious! I now highly recommend BBQ stuffed peppers also!
