Windsor Pizza Wednesday!

Episode 61: "Naples Pizza" at 110 Richmond St. in Amherstburg.

While we were in Amherstburg reviewing Golden Crust, we decided to double up and review the Naples there as well. This was a delicious pizza that unfortunately has 2 problems; it was a small-ish medium, and it was very expensive ($32!!). That being said, it was truly a delicious pizza worthy of a decent score, but if I lived in Amherstburg, the price might be the main turn-off for me. ❤️🍕

Windsor Pizza Wednesday!

Episode 60: "A Slice of Pi" at 7755 Tecumseh Rd E.

Slice of Pi is already a well known name in LaSalle for amazing pizza. As soon as I heard that they opened a location nearby my house in East Windsor, I had to get out there and try it! It's even better than I remember and owner Karim has actually improved the crispiness on the bottom over the LaSalle location due to a new type of oven that they have been experimenting with! Welcome to East Windsor Slice of Pi, and thank you for bringing even more excellent pizza to Windsor. ❤️🍕

Windsor Pizza Wednesday!

Episode 59: "Golden Crust" at 473 Sandwich St S in Amherstburg.

Golden Crust embodies one of the main reasons that my wife and I started doing these reviews; to find amazing pizza at places we may never have tried otherwise! Combine their 26 years of small town, family run love and care they have for their customers with an absolutely killer pizza and you've got a winner! This pizza was generously topped, flavourful, and cooked to absolute perfection! This one is worth a drive out to A'Burg to see for yourself! ❤️🍕

Windsor Pizza Saturday!

Episode 58: "Oven 360" at 24 Seacliff Dr E in Leamington.

The long awaited finale to our 3-part Leamington pizza tour is finally here! This pizza was excellent, and although gas-fired and wood-fired pizzas can struggle with a lack of crisp on the bottom, nearly every other element of this pizza was spot on. The butter, herb, and garlic sauteed mushrooms blended with the light flavoured sauce to give such a harmony of tastes. Add an incredibly warm and friendly family team to this recipe and you've got a winner! ❤️🍕
