Thank you to our members and guests who attended the Winnipeg Senior Chef Qualifier in March to help support his trip. Additionally, thank you to Les Marmitons Winnipeg for their generous donation to assist with the cost of travel, food and accommodations necessary to make this opportunity happen

The Winnipeg Branch is committed to providing opportunities for local chefs to test their skills on a national scale and to showcase the great culinary talent that Winnipeg has to offer.

The Canadian Culinary Federation, its members and the greater culinary community are extremely saddened by the news of the passing of member Chef Cameron Huley.

Cameron was a loving father, a dedicated community volunteer and an incredible chef.

His skill and ability in the kitchen were looked up to by everyone in the industry. He was recently awarded the designation of Certified Master Chef.

Cameron proudly represented Canada as a culinary competitor on the international stage, bringing home multiple gold medals. He was also a great mentor and supporter of the industry. As a chef for over 30 years, he was fearlessly honest in his approach to cooking.

His passion, dedication and presence in his community and the culinary industry will be deeply missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family at this time.
