This year, Folklorama was thrilled to work with members of the Canadian Culinary Federation Winnipeg Branch who offered their skills, knowledge, and training to support Pavilions in delivering delicious & memorable meals throughout Festival!

In the months leading up to August, CCFCC ran training workshops for related to menu design and budgeting, plating, and kitchen management, conducted walkthroughs of Pavilion kitchens to help prepare them for opening, and offered hands-on professional assistance in some of our Pavilion kitchens during Festival.

Gyurkovits, Past President of the Canadian Culinary Federation, and Rene J. Marquis, National President of the American Culinary Federation.

Drawing upon their extensive experience in international culinary competitions, professional judging, and the foodservice industry, they will share valuable insights into international competition standards, food safety, and professional judging criteria.

This training course is open to chefs and culinary students.
