Early morning shock 😳

After I finished swearing, I laughed….it was either that or cry, laughter was the better option.

My kitchen was so terribly hot last night that my overnight buns overproofed and fell.

First time this has happened in 15 years of baking these buns for guests.

Not a pleasant surprise at 6:00 am when you have full lodge of guests.

Luckily I had some of the buns from 2 days ago left to make bunwiches with for their lunches.

Today in my happy place, my kitchen in the lodge….

Lusciously Soft Lemon Rolls 😋

Last week in Yellowknife, the coop had one lemon for $5.00 or a bag for $6.99. Make that make sense 🤷‍♀️

Of course I bought the bag, thinking fine, I’ll just squeeze and freeze the extra 🍋 🍋 🍋

This morning I decided to whip up a batch of lemon rolls.
The PC citrus press made it a breeze.

Hi All!
June is here!!! What does June mean in the Pampered
Chef World?
It means double Host rewards 😳

What does June mean in my world at Hearne Lake Lodge? It means a crazy busy time with guests.

That being said, I have set up a Mystery Host Party. The link to check out the catalogue and sales is below.
I’m here for any help you may need.

One lucky guest that places an order will become the host and reap the rewards. For every 10.00 ordered you will receive one entry.
