Hi, I’m Nastassia — founder of Oak + Olive.

I moved to Yellowknife in December 2024, and it’s quickly become home. I grew up in Northern BC, surrounded by fishing, camping, and a deep love for the outdoors — something that still shapes how I live today.

I’ve been in restaurants since I was 16 (starting at McDonald’s), and spent over 15 years in fine dining in Vancouver before stepping into the corporate world with Arc’teryx as an E-commerce Specialist.

Fun fact — during my time in fine dining, I’ve had the opportunity to serve everyone from NHL players to well-known musicians and actors, especially while filming took place in Vancouver. That same level of service, detail, and care is what I bring into every Oak + Olive experience.

During Covid, I moved back home — where I met my husband — and together we’ve lived in remote communities like Stewart, BC, before settling here.

When I’m not working, you’ll find us outside with our two dogs — fishing, hiking, camping, or skiing.

We absolutely love Yellowknife and plan to be here for a while… so get ready to see my big dreams and a true small business expand into something special ♥️
