Please take note that our Europe offices will be closed from April 3 - 6 for the celebration of Semana Santa.

Semana Santa (Holy Week) is a week-long celebration leading up to Easter Sunday. This is an important holiday in Guatemala, where its celebrated by baking large amounts of bread and by decorating the streets with colourful sawdust "carpets". There is no other country that celebrates Semana Santa like Guatemala!

Visiting the Kaffa region in Ethiopia this week with the Europe team. A lot of care is taken on the drying beda so that the coffees will be as clean as possible.

Earthquakes hit Guatemala yesterday, with the Antigua and Guatemala City regions being the most affected. We’re happy to report that our team and their families are safe. Quakes and the resulting damages are a part of life in Guatemala, but you never get used to sights like these!
