A generous client opened these beauties for us. The 1996 Mouton Rothschild was a clear standout, showing beautifully, while the 2012 still has plenty of time ahead of it. Looking forward to seeing how it develops!

A milestone year for Port 🍷

2024 marks the first general Vintage Port declaration since 2017 — a seven-year wait that reflects just how rare truly exceptional conditions have become in the Douro.

Recently tasted, these w**es are already showing remarkable elegance, purity, and accessibility. Yet beneath their approachable charm lies the concentration and structure for decades of ageing. These are w**es that will reward patience.

The vintage has earned widespread acclaim, with leading Port houses nearly unanimous in their declaration and renowned Port expert Richard Mayson awarding exceptional scores, including a perfect score for Graham’s Stone Terraces.

Production is also incredibly limited. Fonseca produced just 3,600 cases in 2024, compared to 8,100 in 2017, while Quinta de Roriz bottled a mere 360 cases.

A vintage defined by balance, precision, and classic Douro character — and one that collectors won’t want to miss.
