A Craft Coffee Moment at Shanghai Portman Ritz-Carlton Hotel

Last week, during the Marriott International Luxury Greater China Team Visit at The Portman Ritz-Carlton, we had the honor of partnering with the F&B team at Shanghai Portman Ritz-Carlton Hotel to serve our organic Yunnan coffee.

The event highlighted the attention to detail and craftsmanship that guests associate with The Ritz-Carlton. Guests experienced our coffee through three formats — espresso, ice drip, and cold brew — each requiring precision and genuine barista craftsmanship. It was clear to us how much The Ritz-Carlton is pushing to elevate the coffee experience through real craftsmanship, rather than settling for the ordinary.

The culinary team also created a dessert presentation featuring our coffee beans, alongside a dedicated coffee-themed corner — a fitting touch for Shanghai, home to more coffee shops than anywhere else in the world.

Special thanks to Lukas and the Food & Beverage team at The Portman Ritz-Carlton, Shanghai for the opportunity to collaborate on such a memorable experience.

As part of Marriott International, The Ritz-Carlton places real emphasis on sustainability — and Yunnan's closed-loop organic farming model is a natural fit with that vision. From soil to cup, without leaving origin.
